Where can I use food stamps?
Much like a credit or debit card, you can use your EBT card to buy eligible food items. You must buy them from: Authorized SNAP grocery stores. Participating farmers markets.
Where can I use my Link card?
The Illinois Link card can be used in all 50 states at most grocery stores and ATMs. Look for a display that the store accepts Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards. Current Cardholders may access their SNAP (food stamp) and cash benefits at Point of Sale (POS) terminals at most grocery stores.

You will receive your Illinois Link card through the mail at the address you gave to your local DHS office. Please allow seven (7) days for mail delivery. If you were approved for benefits but have not received your card within 10 days, contact your caseworker.
